Sunny afternoon, decided to stop off for a drink. We ordered drinks, a crepe and 2 ice-creams. The bill came out with the drinks and ice-creams. We waited for the crepe, assuming they were busy with waffles. We sorted the money for the bill and paid, still waiting for the crepe. We asked for the crepe and a bill came out with it. We told the waiter we had already paid and he claimed "not to understand". The bill we paid included the initial crepe but we were forced to pay again. Hate being ripped off. Plus, €7 for a large beer which was only 50cl.
C'est le restaurant de Dieppe où vous devez aller, ils sont pleins tout le temps ! La sauce normande est très bonne, le poisson aussi. Mon café préféré, gastronomique, est le seul que je connais dont le nom est bien mérité ! La photo est suffisante pour elle-même. N'attendez pas un service chaud, donc il y a beaucoup de gens ici, mais vous pouvez aller, c'est très bon à un prix qui est moins cher qu'ailleurs.
Typical no nonsense French brasserie. I had the dish of the day, a very well done roast chicken and fries. Great choice in the menu, and good wine and beer list. Very good value for money and the staff are friendly. Many locals seem to go there as well which gives a lovely atmosphere.It is situated in the pedestrian high street and becomes a creperie in the afternoon.
The title of the review says it all really. Great lunch and friendly service. This is a very small cafe with tables outside in the shade which was welcome on a really hot day. Because it's not by the marina prices are much cheaper but the food quality and service were very good. Would go back.
