Le Roi Du Taco - Réservation de table

I went with a good friend who has been to the restaurant before and we choose the 1/2 kg $25 option. We had al pastor and carnitas estilo michoacan without the fatty pieces. I didn't like the al pastor as it wasn't in the "pulled pork" shredded pieces but little chunks of meat with fatty bits. Carnitas were in shredded pieces. Both were flavourful. Too bad you can select lengua (tongues) as one of the option. We thought we'd have leftover but in the end we ate up everything minus the extra tortillas. lolEnough seating as it has two dining rooms and a store. Friendly service. You pay at the cash but please tip the waiter at the table.

Mais qu'est-ce que c'est que cette façon de collecter les clients à la caisse en les brusquant/les forçant de se dépêcher en appelant "AU SUIVANT!!" alors que le "précédent" n'a pas même pas rangé son reçu de caisse ni remis sa carte débit dans son porte-cartes?? C'est est un service à la caisse digne d'une restauration du plus bas niveau imaginable!Dommage, car le service à la table, lui, était très gentil et les plats étaient délicieux. Mais lorsque vient le temps de régler, on ne pourrait pas mieux vous jeter à la porte.... (expérience du 8-7-17, 14 h environ).

This place has a front entrance from Jean-Talon Street and a back one from the Jean-Talon market. We stopped by for a quick lunc and ordered the mixed grill which turned out to be a generous portion, tasty and delicious at a bargain price in a friendly atmosphere. Service is courteous and efficient.There is a wide array of Mexican specialties available on the menu and you can buy some products including homemade sauces and tortillas (flour and corn). Definitely worth a return visit.

Been wanting to try this place for a while. Finally did it last week.Needed a place for a quick lunch.Had meat taco with salsa.They have 3 types of salsaThe mild one, the medium and the spicy one. I am pretty good usually with hot sauce, but this time I stopped at the medium. The hot one is really hot ( never trust the green salsa, it is always the hottest)Good food, good value Réservez une table maintenant

Nourriture très fraîche, santé et délicieuse qu'on peut apprécier avec des amis ou en famille à très bon rapport qualité-prix et avec la bonne humeur et les sourires radieux et très respectueux des serveurs. Et ... miracle : enfin un ¨fast food¨ qui a réussi à ¨détrôner ¨ MacDO (désolée, je sais que ... ) aux yeux de mon ados. Ouf. Nous y retournons en famille et avec plaisir.

Everything is OK, sometimes when there are a lot of people it's a little bit uncomfortable. Is not the real Mexican taste but is OK, I think that is the best Mexican restaurant in Montreal. The only complain that I have is that they should be a little bit more flexible for choosing the tacos (like in Mexico) and let the people ask for the taco that they want.

Came with my Mexican friend who says this resto is the real deal, a must visit for authentic dish.Ordered Soupe de Tortilla, my Mexican friend said it is very good. I agreed. By recommendation of my friend, we also order others (Forgot the names.... too difficult to remember >o

First, make sure you pick a table outside, if the weather is agreeable. The food is wickedly good, varied and very affordable. I had the best tamales here, while my wife had the carnitas. I can see why the place was packed when we came by, and will certainly visit again Réservez une table maintenant

Après avoir lu les critiques (excellentes) nous sommes allés chez le roi du taco. Très décevant, nourriture pas très bonne, froide et peu appétissante. Probablement que les prix (très bas) justifient les critiques positives au détriment de la qualité.

AWESOME. It tastes just like Being in Mexico or being at abuelita's house.Best in town, friendly family atmosphere and the cheap..
