Le Roy's in Monrovia is a hidden gem for anyone who loves a hearty breakfast. The portions here are beyond generous, making it a perfect spot if you want to start your day with a full stomach. My daughter ordered the Pancake Combo, which typically includes 3 pancakes, bacon, and eggs. To our surprise, she was served 5 pancakes along with the eggs and bacon—an enormous portion that was way too much for her to finish, but she loved every bite. My wife and I both ordered eggs with either bacon or sausage, and the food did not disappoint. Food was good but service is bad. Old Red headed waitress seemed irritated to serve us. We were left to look for our own condiments from other tables. Had to get her attention at least 3 times because she would not check back on us. Never got a receipt. She was also quite rude. We were only a small table of 2 adults and 2 kids. She had no problems being attentive to her other tables who were non hispanic. Hmmm. I guess that’s why people say this is an “old time” diner.
The portions for the amount of food were correct coffee was good does sauce need to use fresh tomatoes you can tell the difference when you can tomatoes. Coffee with decent priced overall the food was price well. Just a little comment the food like a little bit of flavor I went on review from a reviewer to see for myself. Just an idea senior discounts always work in your favor. I will say this pancake was good. What I do like is everybody pitched in
