I really wanted this place to be sweet and the ambience was very nice, but the server was a little rude. We came and waited to sit, she asked the party before us where they wanted to sit. For us it was how you can sit here. (At least the place was empty because he was still early) then another family came and she also asked them where they wanted to sit. We have no choice. Then we had to tap water that really tasted bad. She took our order after a long wait and then, when we didn't even eat, she gave us the check. When I asked her for a cup, she just went away without saying anything, and I had to ask her again when she came back with our cards. Eating wasn't bad, but nothing great. I would come back
Two sided menu, the second is strictly vegan / vegetarian dedicated. Included endless (hard to choose) options for non-meat dishes. Started with a carrot salad that looked on the first appearance like a plate of crushed carrots. The mint vinaigrette dressing really added the taste with the craisins. The main course was braided. The sauce was uniquely delicious. It was the consistency of the pasta sauce, but had a bbq flavor flair to it. The potatoes were roasted and a nice addition to the tofu block. So much food tasted, some nuances. The service is slow and requires patience. There was no whole house or many diners. Potentially short staff? Overall, the review is worthwhile. I'd make a visit.
Beautiful café that offers a separate vegan / vegetarian menu. I had checked the menu on their website and was pleasantly surprised to find an expanded menu with wonderful options in person. The grilled mushroom and tofu sandwich was amazing, definitely recommended. The café had a nice atmosphere and the staff was friendly, overall a great place for lunch or dinner!
