Le Syracuse - Réserver une table

We were wandering around the small town of Chablis, looking for somewhere to eat and came across this delightful restaurant. The street level, outdoor patio was empty because it had recently rained, but good luck was upon us when we went inside to discover a warm and cozy restaurant, without first having called for reservations. We were early, so we got a table. Our group of four had a variety of dishes, all very, very good. The wine, of course, was local and also very good. It doesn't get much fresher than having your winery right down the road. The staff were all quite young, but they were very good. They were attentive when they needed to be and invisible when they didn't. All in all, a very good choice.

We reserved our table for 11 people including 5 children by popping into the restaurant about 2 hours before we wanted to eat. By the time we arrived the table was set up and ready. Our waiting staff were helpful, patient and friendly despite our poor efforts in French, our off menu requests and our slightly over excited children. The food and wine was tasty and well priced and the outdoor dining area is a beautiful place to sit....I will definitely be back next time I am in Chablis.

Very popular spot in a tranquil setting. Sitting beneath umbrellas enjoying a summer lunch this is the place. Salads, mains and carafes of wine is what we were looking for and found here. Very nice wait staff that navigated thru the menu despite our lack of French language skills. If only we could have spent an evening meal too!

A splendid little lunch cafe in ChablisI had the leg of duck, which was the plate du jour, and my friends had salads.

great place, well situated, lovely terrace (shaded), but the service was very slow when they are busy
