After 30 years of being a delighted and loyal Legal Seafood customer,After 30 years of being a royal legal seafood customer, brand advocate and evangelist I had a horrible meal last evening with my daughter and her friend. I ordered linguini and clams which is a tricky dish that I don't order everywhere. I naturally believed that the Legal quality would be exceptional. However, while the clams themselves were good. The linguini was overcooked and served in a “soup” of buttery oil that the pasta was swimming in. It was inedible. My daughter had scallops that were dry and overcooked. My daughter's friend had salmon that was fine. Additionally when I asked the guy who brought my linguini for some cheese, he looked at me like I had insulted him. (I don't think it was because of the old adage about cheese on shellfish, I think he was annoyed to be bothered. He was not our main server. We live in Marblehead, so we enjoy fresh seafood all the time. The only place I would ever venture for seafood (locally) outside my own kitchen and local restaurants is Legal. However, it will be a while, before I decide to return for more than oysters and a glass of wine. Tragic end to a long relationship.

As a previous loyal customer of LEGAL SEAFOOD I had concerns when the new owners took over! Well, since that time I've visited multiple locations and can confirm they're doing a great job! Stopped in for lunch recently and had a delightful efficient server named Sage! She did a fantastic job. We totally enjoyed our wine selections as well as our salads which were fresh and tasted awesome! Our entree's were Baked Anna Haddock with delicious sides.. and Fried Clams which were positively flavorful and fresh! Check them out, you won't be disappointed!

Didn't know our favorite Legal Seafoods bartender waited tables one day a week. We thought Katie was just coming by to say hi. She was as great a waiter as she is a bartender. Awesome service. The lunch special of lobster roll, chowder, fries slaw is so good, just the right size an amazing value. Thanks LS. We're thankful for the camaraderie really like Sue the hostess too, who even gave us chocolate candy she had made at home. Be back soon.

We had Great casual lunch during the slow time around 4 PM. Although Trent was new, he treated us well. Katie makes an awesome Cosmo. Food was delish. I hear from so many local ppl that Legals just isn't the same anymore, but I've been lucky enough to have many excellent t lunches dinners at this location without exception.

Lori was a great server. She's waited on me like 4-5 times already this year, and am always glad to be on her section. That darn lobster roll lunch special is awesome. Lobster/choice of chowder or bisque/ fries. It's just enough such a deal.
