Pretty decent Thai food at this joint. Came here for lunch with a few of my colleagues and we discovered this huge backyard filled with seats with a real cute Asian theme to it. Great place to sit with a group of people to chat and is away from all the loud noise. The lunch special was pretty cheap as well $9.50-$11.50 depending on type of meat. Compared to Jumbo Thai, the portion sizes are definitely bigger at Jumbo Thai. However flavour wise, I think it’s a tad better here at Lemongrass Takrai. If you like your food spicy make sure to ask for it hot! I got the seafood pad kee mao and it was nice and spicy (I was able to add more chilli sauce afterwards too). nice and quick service. looks like lunch for office workers. they also have an in-house in the back for larger groups, as the filial front has limited tables. ordered the green curry with bark meat lunch special. bark meat pieces were quite cloby and a little chewing, but overall curry sauce was rich and delicious
Located near the intersection of union and pyrmont bridge rd, lemongrass takrai offers good value delivered or takeaway (and a few sit in) thai food. The rice they gave me was massive. The lemongrass stir fry was very flavoursome, but the chicken satay wasn't very tender and the satay sauce was a bit bland.
