The opinion that you are given is only an enlightened opinion among so many others and not a judgment that would call in return a comment on customer food practices. the customers of the farm sometimes come to pass a weekend around the truffle and visit the area. discovery can seduce the tourist. but for the native who only tastes truffle, the wait is different. a exceptional product corresponds to an exceptional moment. No restaurant owners in the area will welcome you at such a price, including if they make you taste truffle in one of their dishes. the setting and service, certainly friendly, have nothing exceptional in relation to the price required. As for the meal, the customer has the right to a succession of mouths that you must taste with the sugar spoon, the coffee spoon being already too large. It is also the only restaurant where you eat without the cutlery and without the plates laid in front of you and which remain purely decorative. 5 placed in the mouth served in a doll dinner and a single "similar" dish with 4 ravioli. No fish or meat cooked with truffle, only a mini cream burnt with 3 centimetres in diameter and one, a single nut of Santiago served in a spoon and invites you to enjoy at once. all watered by a succession of modest organic wines of the shepherdacois served on the count drops, which in no way dispute the quality of the perigord or monbazillac. local rustic tables are generally, more abundant and generous without being roborative

we had come to taste truffle and a meal; but she wasn't our surprise!!! We only tasted butterfly 4 amuses in the entrance plus a plate of 4 ravioli; 1 amuse cheese mouth and ice ball in dessert and to water the whole 1/4 glass of wine all this for 68€/person too expensive. We had seen beautiful pictures of plates filled on the site that we did not eat. While the truffle course is expensive but there...... it is a tourist catch

Second time I have lunch at the Mérigots truffle.Even satisfaction both at the reception, quality and originality. We didn't take a cooking lesson but that's what we'll do when we get to our next visit. This is a beautiful tribute to the king of mushrooms. eric allgret likes to share his love of truffle and gastronomy. essential if you want authenticity.

reception and excellent meals. the conductive wire truffle, never in excess but sufficiently present to develop the whole palette of fragrances of this extraordinary mushroom. Bravo eric and nadine, we'll be back.
