Stumbled upon this restaurant whilst exploring the beautiful town of Belves on holiday. Its location was the thing that attracted us. It's on a terrace on the town's edge where the tables outside overlook the whole valley below. On a very hot afternoon it was lovely to sit at a table under an umbrella eating whilst looking out over the countryside. The owner and her staff were very friendly and efficient and ready with answers to all questions about the menu (in any language you might like to question in!). Two salad starters, a main salad and 3 main pasta dishes, 4 desserts (great selection), 4 coffees and a bottle of wine for €95. Great value, great service and great view
This restaurant is a find! Nathalie and her staff are great hosts. The food was sumptuous. The salad with duck breast and fillets was so filling, I was not able to eat dessert. The homemade canales looked wonderful and they had sold out by the time I could have ordered them. This is an intimate restaurant, so reservations are highly recommended; otherwise, you may be turned away!
un petit coin avec une grande vue, une atmosphère détendue, un bon patron qui fait tout elle-même, de bons repas copieux, un choix suffisant pour les végétariens, qui n'est pas toujours évident dans le perigord, et pas trop cher, de très bons desserts, que de mieux demander!? On y retourne !
This is the BEST view in Belves. Situated just a walk down to the Terrasses, away from the noise of the village, with the most calm view of the valley, and with the best French offerings. Nathalie, the creator and owner is fluent in French, English, Italian, German. A great romantic site.
