Average deli, very pricey. Could have slightly better packaging techniques for to go orders. It probably deserves a lower rating but delis are a dying breed so I tried to be kind. Mostly worth going if you're craving that average Jewish deli vibe. I've knocked a star off because the matzo ball soup quart had two tiny (pea sized) pieces of chicken. Not kidding. I never expect much, especially of the broth is ok, but this was a bit shocking. Their half cured pickles are excellent, if small.
I moved out of the Riverdale section of the Bronx back in the nineties but there is only one reason to go back Liebman's Deli. My best friend comes up from FL and we go to Liebman's Deli. We turned his son on to Liebman's Deli. The pastrami on rye is phenomenal. Its just great kosher food and service!
My corned beef sandwich was fine but my wife's pastrami sandwich was terrible. She had a hard time eating it and it made her sick. Many other places are much better.
This is probably one of my favorites near the Westchester area. Matzah ball soup, corned beef, latke, coleslaw, pickles, baba ganoush… all fantastic! Réservez une table maintenant
Got a pastrami sandwich for takeout when I ate it was at least 40 percent fat won't be going back anymore they fell off big time in the last year
The sandwich was terrible the price was ridiculous try this first time but never never again need to go down to Katz's Deli in the city
Slow service and it’s expensive but the food was delicious—that chicken fat thing they put next to my sandwich in particular
