Our server was very nice and friendly, the atmosphere was great, food was delicious, however, the wait time for our food was very slow. We sat down at 2:30, our server took our order in a timely manner and we waited FOREVER for our food. It didn't arrive until a little after 3:30 (an hour after we sat down) and it wasn't overly busy. Happy the pizza was good to make up for the wait time. Or, maybe I was so hungry from waiting that anything would have tasted good lol.
You have a beautiful location and facility, clean restrooms and friendly staff. We nonetheless found the service slow and the food overpriced, as delicious as it was. The cannoli shell tasted stale and did not match its menu description. The wonderful mousse cake was small for $12, as was the chowder, at $17. We paid almost $200 for lunch for four, which is excessive, and only two of us had alcohol. Why should almonds and olives cost $10?
The pizza was delicious! Artichoke/eggplant dip very bland, a bit of a disappointment. The wine is very overpriced for the very little bit you serve. I wouldn't spend the money for a glass of wine when I know what I can pay for the whole bottle. I know it costs more by the glass, but the prices are a bit out to lunch. The pizza was a good price and we would come back for that again.
a beautiful location in a very large, air-conditioned tent with views of the weinberge. eating was good, but the service on the Thanksgiving day was very slow. we ordered a few starters and 3 pizzas for our main course and the pizzas arrived first. the workers were very pleasant, but they (kitchen and waiting staff) were overloaded and the delays took the edge of the meal.
eating was delicious, the service was amazing as the atmosphere. it was very busy when we arrived, it was a holiday Monday and one of the few places open. the waitress apologised for our appetizer, who took so long and even took off our bill. we have not even noticed that it took a long time because we really enjoy our time. thanks for the great food!
It was cold outside and the large heater were not turned on ? We went to try the tent and it was too loud. The blankets are great but my mother was quite cold. Food was good wine was fine but felt over priced as there were no shipping etc.. costs in play $15 per glass too much for a glass at the point of manufacture.
great place! my only reason not to give 5 stars was the service. at the greeting of 3 different people. Once it came to the table, we never heard from the server until we were finished and wait one. Nobody asked how it was eating or whether we needed anything else. no offer of another drink. only the bill.
we have made reservations for lunch to celebrate our parents high-time day. the ambiente was great, unique and the service was efficient. the middle of my pizza was a little soggy, could be because of olive oil. pizza itself was very delicious. we shared garlic fingers that we sooo delicious!
