Was in Parry Sound for the weekend to enjoy the fall colours as had some relatives from another country visiting. after reading some reviews we decided to go to this restaurant for dinner. To their credit, there seemed to be a large party in the restaurant so it could have been that they were busy. asked for a run down of the beverages and was either given a shorter version than was on the menu for soft drinks as at first was told only two ties of juice were available for the kids when i reality there was more. had to give my beer order twice only to find out both times that they did not have that type of beer even though I asked both times what was available. service took long and one of ou...

So glad to have found Lighthouse restaurant, a new casual dining spot on Hwy 141 (just south of Memories of Muskoka). There is a real shortage of nice restaurants in the area so I was eager to try this with the family. First off: Friendly service to greet us and a clean, nicely appointed dining room. The menu had everything, from steak to seafood to pub selections to a good variety of salads, and a kids menu. We all ordered something we were excited about eating! The prices were quite reasonable.They have their liquor license which is another plus.The food arrived promptly and was really very good. The portions were generous. This was our third try since it opened as the lighthouse! First two were a disappointment. Third time is the charm. Food was fresh,well cooked and served hot. Grandchild was served first to speed up meal. Very thoughtful. Server was Cherie who we recognized from another restaurant where she has served us well for years. Great hostess/waitress. Hamburg had real meat in it and no filler. GREAT. Going back for sure. Nightly all-you-can-eat specials. Call to check.

Went there for lunch with two others. Everyone's food was inedible. The "homemade spaghetti and meatballs" tasted like it came out of a can, except that the meatballs were freezer burned to the very centre. I did complain and was told, "Oh, that's too bad. Other people have said the same thing" and given no discount on my bill. Réservez une table maintenant

The staff was very friendly and the food was all home made. Clean bathrooms, nice surprise for an unexpected stop! They let us order lunch or dinner as it was mid afternoon, they didn't restrict us, I liked that! Only down was no WiFi!

We had a great time at the restaurant, enjoying delicious hot sandwiches and fries, local draft beer, excellent service, and the charming cottage country decor. We would definitely be happy to visit again.

Great food and a warm cottage like atmosphere. Won't be diasapointed. The place is spotless. The severs wete very attentive and my glass was never close to empty.
