Lil’ Mickey’s is the Real Thing! I’ve had Memphis, Carolina, and Texas barbecue and Lil’ Mickey’s is as good as being on Beale Street! <br/ <br/ Super friendly service, who not only gave us great recommendations on their menu, but checked on us during and after our meal. The meal was to our table less than 5 minutes after ordering and was hot, fresh, and exactly what we ordered. The pulled pork was phenomenal and the ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender.<br/ <br/ The restaurant is a converted older building, so nothing fancy, but when you’re in the mood for barbecue that’s not the priority, is it? Our first time visiting the restaurant. I had the ribs and my husband had the rib tips. The meat is cooked to perfection, very tender and flavorsome. The baked beans don't look like they are just from the can, but they are fairly tasty with hunks of meat in them. The potato salad was not good. I think the slaw dressing shoud be used in the potato salad to give it more flavor. I recommend the restaurant because the meat is fantastic.

Lil Mickey’s is great! Our family has been long time loyal customers since they were located on Mexico Road. BBQ joints come and go in the area but this one is lasting the test of time. If you haven’t been, give it a try. You won’t be sorry.

Great Food! Homemade sides. Love the slaw myself. The beans even have meat mixed in. Family ran restaurant. Highly Recommended. Check it out, you won't be sorry.

A Sleeper. Not the big name in town but the BBQ is great. Great sauce but the meat stands on it's own.
