I started writing a really wordy review of my personal party details, but realized it doesn't make sense to do that. The things that matter: the food was outrageous and Mike, the owner of LIG, is incredibly helpful. He's calming and wonderful to work with. I had a small issue with an outside resource, completely unrelated to LIG, but Mike offered to step in and help out. Jen, the waitress and John, the chef were outstanding. My husband and I have been dining at LI Gourmet for over 20 years. The food is consistently fresh, delicious, and there’s a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The staff is always friendly and attentive, ensuring that the food is prepared promptly. I've also hired them for catering events, and they provide the same quality of food that you would find at a larger establishment, but at better prices and even tastier. I highly recommend LI Gourmet for all your culinary needs.
I want to express my disgust regarding the owner's daughter at this establishment. As a mother, I witnessed her making multiple harassing calls to my son and using racial slurs against him. What's particularly alarming is that my son has never met her and had no prior interactions with her. There is no place for racism in our society, so I urge everyone to think twice before supporting this business!
I've been a fan of this restaurant for years, but that has come to an abrupt end. A close friend of mine was harassed by the owner's daughter, who was calling him and his mother racial slurs over the phone. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in 2023 and should not be tolerated!

My family lives close to here so it's a staple. Whether it's catering during a family event during the summer, or just a quick breakfast and lunch everything is delicious. The staff is so friendly and prices are right on par for our area.
One of my favorite places to grab a sandwich! Everyone there is really friendly. LIG has been making me a special sandwich I created when I was 12 for over 10 years and nowhere else even compares. My go to for a consistently good meal.
Our company has been catering lunch and dinner from Long Island Gourmet for many years! Always a great selection, arrives on time, and delicious!!!
I can assure it was not the wrong place. Eggs are not cooked to order and everything is rushed . Service not so great .
