"We were drawn to this restaurant for its sunny exterior overlooking the street. very disappointed in the quality of the food. Too expensive. We liked the cheese pasta. The sangria tasted like juice, with extra sugar added in."

The deck overlooking the street had nice shade from umbrellas and trees and heaters for the cooler evenings. The menu was fair but we didn't find it very interesting. The service was good and the server spoke English well. The food was good and tasty but we found the pasta portions small ~ mostly pasta and sauce with very small pieces of ham and a scattering of mushrooms. For almost $20 I would have liked more.

The restaurant has a two course lunch menu (starting from $15). The appetizer carrot soup was good, but I was not impressed by the mains. My salmon poke bowl ($15) was a little off, with cooked smoked salmon, corn and beans. The beef tartar ($16) was good, but the portion was too small, looked like an appetizer. Service was nice and the place is well located.

We were in Baie St Paul in November, and there were only 3 places open for dinner. The food here was ok though a little disappointing. We ordered pasta and pizza. It was a bit overpriced, and we felt that the pizza and pasta down the road was much better and was actually less expensive. The atmosphere was nice and the service was fine.

We were told the fried calamari were unbeatable, and they were. Ribs were delicious and mussels a delight. This is real cuisine from a chef that takes it seriously. Great service and a comfortable place. Not much else to say except that you should not miss it !
