Lost Nation 's Biergarten has been a special stop for us on our bi yearly trips to Vermont for the past 6 years or so. The beer was always average, but the food was always so good that it made up for any of its shortcomings. Sadly, it breaks our hearts to say that after visiting today, we don 't know if we 'll be coming back. The vibe is way different than our last visit in September '22, and it feels like just a shadow of what it once was. The food menu has changed from being pretty adventurous (ahi tuna tacos and tiki masala were some of my favorites) to very basic (such as cheeseburgers, cheesesteaks, tots). Food service is a counter now no table service and very limited staff all around....
Checked this place out again Still great as ever. We had to make reservations which was fine. Tables outdoors in the Biergarten were adequately spaced. Every table had hand sanitizer on it. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. She recommended the special of braised jerk chicken with pineapple and cheddar cheese and local greens on a challah roll. It was delicious if messy. My only complaint with this place is that the juices tend to make the bread soggy especially by the time you get to the second half of the sandwich or taco. Pineapple really made this sandwich come together. The chicken had a nice spice but I expected more since it was labeled as a Jamaican jerk chicken. Good I just wish...
The brewery appeared spacious, but the indoor seating area was small. However, the outdoor area was much larger and seemed perfect for warmer months, although it was too cold to sit outside when we visited. I decided to try the Lost Galaxy IPA in a 10 oz glass, and found it to be delicious with a higher ABV than most IPAs. Despite the unappealing food menu, the daily specials sounded more enticing. The service was attentive and the restaurant wasn't too crowded. I would consider returning in the summer to take advantage of the expansive outdoor seating area.
We went to the restaurant hoping to have some delicious Vermont beer and food, and we were not let down. We had a chat with the bartender, who was very welcoming and attentive. The beers were refreshing and tasted great. We ordered two smash burgers with fries, and they were delicious. The salad was also excellent. Despite the cold weather outside, the restaurant was warm and inviting. Overall, we were impressed with the experience and felt it did a great job showcasing what Vermont has to offer in the brewing pub scene.

Super cute brewery with very affordable tasting options. We had the roasted garlic hummus as a snack, which was INCREDIBLE! I cannot stop thinking about how good that hummus was! You can get four ounce pours, so we were able to sample several different beers. They have lots of outdoor seating options, including an adorable fire pit. Our server was also extremely friendly and helpful and cute!!
Excellent food service and beer. We shared the BBQ pulled pork sandwich. It was fantastic. My husband got the mosaic Ipa. He loved it and the pricing was super good. Fun cool outside vibe and our waiter was very nice as well
The restaurant offers delicious food and serves beer from various local breweries. It is a small establishment with only one bathroom, but it has a fantastic atmosphere and provides excellent service.
This is our absolute go-to spot every time we visit Vermont. It never lets us down! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the beer selection, making the experience even better.
