The server did try to apologize, explaining that the mix-up was due to the cook not speaking English. They offered us a discount, but still charged us for the fries that came with the meal. When the server returned and noticed that I had only taken one bite of the sandwich, she credited the entire sandwich meal and offered a complimentary drink. While I appreciate her effort to rectify the situation, I feel that it could have been handled much better. I would have expected a manager to come over and apologize for the issue.
Overall, it was a major disappointment. I will not be returning, and I don't recommend anyone else dine here either.
When you go to Bar Louie for happy hour, be very aware of the 18% gratuity tax that they very sneakily apply to your bill. Here's how it works. You go in for happy hour and get a $5.00 drink. The regular price for this drink is $10.00. What they do is, at the end of the night when you are squaring up your bill, they take your total amount of drinks x's the regular price $10.00), then charge you 18% of that number to your bill. It's really a sneaky and underhanded way to get the almost full price of your happy hour drink. I found this out the hard way, when I got my bill. Needless to say, happy hour at Bar Louie is over for me.
Not good. Not good at all. Last time I was there i got there and waited about 10 minutes before a server came to the table, then about 15 minutes more for the drinks to arrive. In addition to this, the food was not good imo, I've had better food at Taco Bell, plus they automatically add 18% gratuity, probably because they know no one would leave a decent tip for the terrible service. Pay attention to this, or you will get scammed into leaving an extra tip like I did.. Then they ripped me off on the bill but I just wanted to get out of there. I won't be back ever lol god this place is terrible.
FORCED TIP, and they don't have the decency to tell you. Went to their bar last night for just drinks. When I was ready to cash out they asked me if I wanted my receipt, I said yes I want to tip them and I don't have any cash. Not a whisper that a 18% tip is already included on the bill. Just watched me try and tip them again. Thankfully my friend caught it, as I took forever with the math. Absolutely not. Will never be spending money here again. Nothing like taking something that is supposed to show gratitude and turning it into a scam.

Our experience at the restaurant tonight was disappointing. The waiter made a racially charged remark as soon as we sat down, asking if we were planning to skip out on the bill. This was very inappropriate and made us feel unwelcome. Additionally, the food was overcooked. I won't be returning.

The waiter’s customer service was awful. He was not only rude, but also forgot to bring napkins and utensils. He didn't check on my table at all and kept asking about payment instead. I would rate my experience a 0 out of 10.
Love the calamari here. The salmon sliders need a bit more creative thought. Overall nice place to dine.
