Having a bit of a break from Adelaide in Scarborough, Perth foodie mate and myself decided to head to Ishka for dinner. Although we had read mixed reviews from different sites, we thought, we will try anyway! Well! my foodie friends! we really should have taken notice and not bothered, severe waste of money. The décor is actually quite lovely (except the dining chairs look a bit cheap which I found unusual).Service was good, except for the fact that they did not handle complaints too well, the most difficult job for a waiter, as this is usually not their fault. I rated the restaurant as a 3 but in reality it is probably a 3.5.The restaurant is above the Breakwater Tavern and some noise does come up to the restaurant although this wasn't much of an issue on the Wednesday night that we visited. It's a large restaurant and there were a couple of large tables of diners in addition to lots of couples.Service throughout the night was excellent.Wednesday is steak night which looked to be quite good value given Perth prices. My wife had a steak but it was cooked past the rare she asked for. Likewise, my venison was cooked just a tad past the recommended cooking time for venison. First time visiting and i would have to say what wonderful staff and service. The waitress was thorough and very friendly and gave us very useful information in relation to food choice. She always smiled and checked in from time to time in regards to food service etc. The food was devine and the price was good for the quality of and portion of food service.During winter months their is a fireplace within the restaurant to keeo you warm and there are views of the harbour and sunset.Would recommend this restaurant to all, well worth a visit
Poussé pour le déjeuner aujourd'hui, c'était ma première fois ici. Belle vue et atmosphère décontractée. J'ai eu la pizza de Margarita - était très gentille - pas trop grasse, et pas trop ringard. Ils ont utilisé Buffalo Mozzarella au lieu de certains chease châssis du fromage huileux. Mon partenaire avait les nervures d'agneau qu'il aimait mais ils avaient un peu trop gros pour son goût. Je viens joyeusement pour une alimentation décontractée si j'étais dans la région encore.

Visité la brise-lames pour un dîner décontracté, payé 25 $ pour un hamburger qui était sec, avait zéro saveur et des copeaux si gros que je me sentais comme je me mordais dans une pomme de terre entière, avec "Aoili" qui avait goûté comme si c'était la mayonnaise d'une bouteille . Beau paysage et atmosphère mais la nourriture était définitivement décevante.
Les côtes d'agneau étaient robustes et sèches. Calamari était correct mais devait demander un coin de citron qui est standard pour ce plat. Comme d'autres l'ont mentionné, il est trop cher. J'ai vu un barramundi battu et la taille de service était pathétique. Ramener les années 90 Suskwater n'importe quel jour.
Four of us attended Ishka to celebrate a belated Mothers Day. We enjoyed the setting, the service and the food. It was great to have my wife and the kids mother spoiled and treated special. Thanks for a great experience Ishka, we will be back.
The food was very nice the service impeccable. It was an excellent choice to celebrate our wedding anniversary here. Time as expertise to select a nice drop just made our special night more memorable. Thanks and will be back for sure...

Very pleasant restaurant with good menu choice, service was good too, nice surroundings with views over the marina. It was fairly quiet just after Easter so early autumn but pleasant enough. Certainly would visit again.
