Not sure where all the positive reviews are from? The cake was dry, tasteless yet somehow overly sweet we got the yellow round with coconut on the outside). There was no taste of vanilla, no richness at all, quite frankly it was almost stale! Supermarket cakes have more flavor and this is not saying a lot). Didn’t try any pastries but those looked decent, not a place you want to get your special occasion cake from, incredibly disappointing :

Growing up My mother has been getting birthday cakes from this place for years, She bought a birthday cake for one of my son's whom just turned 32 this past week and they changed their frosting, one side of the cake collapsed because the frosting was greasy and it didn't taste as good as it used to, She tossed the rest of the cake away and that was a 30 dollar cake. She won't be giving them her business anymore

My favorite bakery! I've been coming here for sixteen years since I first moved to Somerville. The donuts are the best I've ever tasted. I appreciate seeing the same faces over the years, and I truly value a neighborhood business.
Yesterday was my first visit to Lyndells Bakery! It is the absolute best bakery I've ever been to! The Canoli's were the best I've ever had! I will be back for more for sure on my next visit!
My four year old wanted a construction birthday it’s all he talked about. Not only was the cake perfect looking it made his day but as always it was delicious!!!
The black and white cookies at Vest are incredible! They’re more like giant, fluffy muffin tops topped with a classic, lightly sweet frosting. Simply delicious! Réservez une table maintenant
The best! My daughters wedding cake was beautiful and yummy. The half moons as favors for the guests was a big hit.
