If you are visiting Kenora, the M.S. Kenora is a must do while you are there. Kenora is a beautiful town with picturesque scenery and many things to see and do. The M.S. Kenora is at the top of my list!My wife and I went on the 2 hour Sunday Brunch cruise. We 've been for a trip on the M.S. Kenora every September for the past three years to celebrate our anniversary this was our 42nd anniversary and we will be back next year!Food was great, reasonably priced, and our server was priceless checked on us constantly and always smiling. Couldn 't ask for more! While the ship is moving around the Lake of the Woods, there is a running commentary of the various cabins/cottages/mansions dotted around...
An excellent experience aboard the MS Kenora for a cruise of LOTW from the Kenora harbourfront. The staff were all WONDERFUL, pleasant and attentive.I wish we would have made reservations for the buffet as we were not able to partake upon arrival, and though they did not have their full galley menu available the kitchen was still able and willing to make us one of the basic meal items from their menu. Food and drink are very reasonably priced, as well as the price of the ticket to board.Plenty of places to sit sightseeing on the boat while its cruising, and the crew of the boat provide great insights commentary as to what you're seeing as the cruise goes on. We learned and saw so many things...
Interesting little boat. However, I feel they may need to rearrange the seating, and I feel with the lack of seating arrangements, those with back issues who needed to sit couldn't enjoy the experience as people kept on blocking their view.I feel maybe a direct concised direction, or rules should be in place so that all can enjoy the experience.Family members had to ask politely if some of the patriots could move over so, the other family members with back issues and needed to sit can also enjoy the experience, but where cussed and argued with.
The Saturday evening cruise was quite enjoyable and well executed. However, I wouldn’t recommend going there for the food. The beef was cooked well, but the chicken breast was overdone and dry. The steamed frozen vegetables weren’t impressive, though the potatoes were tasty. The desserts were just okay. My Caesar drink was awful—extremely watered down. My wife’s Long Island iced tea was the worst she’s ever had. Overall, the experience was disappointing in terms of the food and drinks. Réservez une table maintenant
It's a lovely cruise that’s perfect for a family outing or a date. The small restaurant on board serves alcohol but has limited seating, so it's best to reserve your tickets online. Depending on the time, you might want to arrive early, as we got there 15 minutes ahead and faced a long line.
