The dive bar had a decent appearance, but my group had a negative experience that prompted us to leave. A local customer made racist comments to my American-born Puerto Rican and Cuban friends, and the male bouncer/bartender made a scene when my female friend brought a drink from another bar. He turned on a spotlight at her table, brought over a garbage can, and publicly told her to throw it out. This unprofessional behavior, along with the presence of racist customers, led us to decide to take our business elsewhere. The only positive note was the female bartender, who provided attentive and professional service.
It's such a sweet, sweet neighborhood place. The beer is good, they’ll pull up your favorite game, but more importantly, they’re kind and welcoming. We need more of that in this world. We walked in, strangers, for my besties’ birthday, and immediately a free beer came her way. A differently-abled young man obviously comes regularly for a beer before going home. Everyone knows his name and seems to look after him. Whether you’re from around the corner or around the globe, you’ll be welcome here. A special place, indeed.
We visited on 12/10/2023, mainly to avoid the impending rain. We were pleasantly surprised by our experience. It was a lively NFL Sunday, with a full bar and lots of cheering for different teams. Even though we were new customers, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. We are glad we decided to give it a try and have found a new favorite bar for our St. Pete Beach adventures. Cheap drinks and great people in a perfectly 'divey ' atmosphere. It 's the only bar open till the AM on Christmas eve in the area, and it hit the mark. Pool table in the back and arcade games line a wall. Parking is clutch, and the people that actually work there are top-tier, funny, and great personalities you wanna be around. I love 'dive bars ' and this one ' s at the absolute top of the list in St. Pete. Réservez une table maintenant
I came here from mn for my best friends birthday and Gabe and Sixty showed out! We were a group of 7 and Gabe and sixty showed out!!! They went above and beyond in every way my group was very happy with their kindness and patience. We coming back every night we’re in town thanks to your amazing staff!
