Second time at Madame Queenies for a Friday night dinner gee, the place was packed! I arrived slightly before 6:30pm, the waitress asked if I would like a drink and I said I would wait for a friend. She then advised that I had a few minutes left to order for Happy Hour, so I decided to order for us both sweet! Wait staff were very attentive at the start, we had a lovely meal of thai chicken wings, pad thai and pork belly claypot. The only thing I could fault, was that there wasn't a great deal of meat in the claypot with the pork belly, mostly fat. The flavours were amazing though. Fantastic experience! Service was impeccable from the momemt we walked in the door, they even accommodated us without a booking despite looking pretty busy! Views over the ocean were spectacular. The food was just as amazing as I anticipated and there were so many vego/gluten free options to choose from too! I had a beautiful curry with crispy skin barramundi and my partner had a spicy stir fry. Both dishes were full of flavour and beautifully presented. The highlight though, was definitely the dessert which we shared, complete with vegan icecream...well we fought over it aggressively. I advise you to get more than one before you end up ending your relationship over it Would highly recommend...
I came here with a group of friends on a Saturday night for dinner. View was lovely overlooking the sunset over the ocean. Service was friendly; however could have been more attentive, as there was a few times that we were either waiting to be served or actively trying to get their attention. I had the Singapore seafood noodles, which was tasty and spicy, but would have loved more seafood in it (only got three prawns and two pieces of squid). I also had the banana fritters and ice cream, which was good. Also, enjoyed the happy hour $6 SSB. <br/
We recently had an amazing 3 course vegan dinner at Madam Queenie and were blown away by the food- it was so delicious and plentiful. The staff led by Barb, Mickey and Clint were amazing- so friendly and they couldn't do enough for our guests. The restaurant has a really good vibe and feel and the views are to die for...directly looking over the Indian Ocean at Sorrento. They are opening at the end of October for lunch so we can't wait to check it out after we go to the beach...they say my dogs are welcome too...can't wait!! Janet

This restaurant is fantastic, with friendly staff and delicious food. However, I was disappointed by the 10pm closing time on Friday and Saturday nights. Last Friday, I went to MQ with three friends and we were asked to leave three times by the manager. Although he was kind, we felt let down by the early closing time, especially on weekends. It was a bit of a letdown for the evening. Nonetheless, the food is amazing. This was my third visit and it was just as great as the first two.
The food was delicious and the happy hour Berry Blitz cocktail was tasty. I forgot to take photos of the food, but our group enjoyed Vegetable Spring Rolls, Sichuan Chicken, Beef Massaman, and Chicken San Choi Bao. We ended the meal with Affogato. The service was great and attentive, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely return to this restaurant.
On Saturday night, 12 of us gathered at this restaurant for a very special occasion. The staff were fantastic - friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions and reasonable prices for the quality. This was my third visit and I will definitely continue to go back and highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.
If you’re a fan of Voyage Kitchen, their sister restaurant Madame Queenie is found right upstairs. It’s a little different from the casual brekkie spot – with this eatery adopting a Modern Asian feel. From the windows, you can take in a stunner of a view over Sorrento Beach, making it a lovey place to dine at sunset.

Just had an amazing dinner there tonight. Fantastic fresh food, wonderful attentive staff and management. Been here a few times and can’t recommend it enough. Thank you everyone tonight for a wonderful dining experience.
Awesome food. Sunset drinks are a must before dinner. So good to see such a good restaurant come to the area. Well done to the guys from voyage opening this great place after so many years. A must try!!!
