Maestral Seafood Restaurant in Weston is a family-owned and run restaurant that serves Croatian and Mediterranean cuisine. The food is always consistent and delicious and the service is always great. There are so many options on the menu and the special board always has yummy dishes! This restaurant is a family favourite of ours and it's where I first met my partners family six years ago. They had been visiting Maestral for years and at that time I was quite new to Canberra. The first time I went it was delicious and every time I've been since it's been consistently good. Maestral in Weston Creek is one of those restaurants I’ve been meaning to try for years. I have heard very good things about the place. I finally organised birthday dinner #4 there one Saturday night. Maestral specialises in Croatian dishes and seafood. As soon as I walked in, my stomach started growling after smelling some wonderful aromas. Complimentary bread came out with olive oil, balsamic and olives. Yum! Loved it! It was my Birthday dinner & had the Mixed Grill & my wife the Seafood platter. Staff and atmosphere was great and even busted out a few Croatian words lol. Highly recommend this place.
We went to dinner for my birthday. Lovely ambience, beautiful owners, superb service and delicious food. I recommed this hidden treasure to anyone - be sure to book a table. We will go there again for sure.
