this is my third time here and as always eating was beyond the accusations, but the service was bad. at present maestral has a policy of two meetings. one by 18 o'clock and one by 20 o'clock. so understandably, they dinate under time constraints. I will highlight some...examples of bad services. a) we had a friend who was late because of a traffic accident, and we said we didn't want them to hurry, but they have to order before 7 o'clock. we said that at 18.20. with others, we could say that we don't want them to hurry, but what we really say is we want them brush b) we had just finished our net and even before they were cleared, we were asked for dessert. This restaurant has become one of our favourite restaurants over the years. It is friendly and the service is excellent. The food is always prepared using very fresh produce and the seafood is delivered fresh daily and is of high quality. Evenings are busy and you would be advised to book well ahead. Lunch times are quieter with the choice of a special menu or the full menu. It is BYO wine and beer so your choices are vast! It was a special occasion and this place never fails to deliver a great meal. Wonderful extensive menu packed with all types of seafood (meat options as well). The place was packed on a Friday night but the service was outstanding. It is only small...so you have to book but it is worth it to get such great seafood cooked to perfection. I know they have been here for 15-20 years and the owners are still delivering the goods. A hidden gem in the suburbs that I highly recommend.
Tonight, we visited a Mediterranean seafood restaurant to celebrate a family member's birthday. After being seated at 6:30 pm, we were informed that we had to leave by 7:30 pm, which was disappointing as the staff who took our reservation did not mention this. It was unfair to have to leave after only an hour, and we will not be returning to this restaurant in the future.

We were excited to try some Croation food and based on the trip advisor rating we had high hopes. Unfortunately it was all a bit ho hum . The food was ok but nothing to get excited about and certainly not worth the drive out...to the suburbs to try it. Nothing stood out that made us think well now we 've experienced Croation food . It was ordinary cooking at best.
The family who runs this charming little restaurant is absolutely lovely. I adore the traditional menu with a modern flair, and the cozy boutique atmosphere of the restaurant is truly a gem! They are able to have conversations without yelling, thanks to the great acoustics and size of the restaurant. Every dish on the menu is absolutely delicious!
Fabulous place. Beautiful people who own it. Best steak I have tasted. Seafood platter is fabulous. Especially the grilled fish on the platter. Love this place it’s obvious why it’s hard to get a booking.
We shared an Adriatic seafood platter for two, plus fish and chips for our young son. The prawns were sensational, the oyster had that delicious fresh aroma of the sea and the chips were crispy.

Lovely fresh seafood. Wonderful service. Nothing was too much bother as I can 't eat garlic and the 'no garlic ' request was not any bother at all. Will be going there again.
