Makai Brewing Company

Our family of five stopped by this restaurant on our way back to Atlanta, GA, and we had a great experience in the afternoon during the week. I tried the raspberry sour, while my husband had the tropical IPA and Loggerhead lager. I really enjoyed the sour; it reminded me of the sours from Orpheus Brewing Company, which is a compliment! Our kids loved the Hibiscus sweet tea lemonade. I regretted not purchasing a T-shirt while we were there.

Very cool on site brewery.great local atmosphere even though it's in North Carolina and my wife and I came from myrtle beach for a nice ride and great beer along with a great lunch from the attached deli butcher shop next door which I assume the breweryowns them too cuz anyone is allowed to get a sandwich from there and eat it in the bar.will return again.check this placeout.not far over the border for the people in South carolina.

Makai Brewing Company is the only brewery in Ocean Isle! They offer 15-20 different beers on tap, and there’s plenty of room in the tap room to relax and enjoy. Located right next to an Italian butcher and deli, you can easily grab a bite if you're feeling hungry. It's a family and dog-friendly environment. The beer is excellent! Stop by for a pint or take some back to your rental.

The place is really nice! I stopped by for a beer and enjoyed the experience. They have a unique "pay it forward" board where you can purchase drinks for others, or if you match a certain item on the board, you can get a drink yourself. There are also a few games to enjoy while you sip your drink. The staff was friendly, and the drinks were tasty. Réservez une table maintenant

Super nice staff. Great craft beers ????. Dog friendly You are not going to taste everything and be able to drive home. In one trip
