Was looking forward to trying Mak’s but was left very disappointed. The selection and flavor profiles were great, but the burgers were very disappointing. If the patties started as fresh burger meat I’d be shocked, as the taste and texture was that of a frozen patty from a big box store. Even had some rubbery bites in mine. At $15 for a mediocre burger with no side it was a ripoff. If it was a slightly bigger, but more importantly an actual quality patty, the price would have been easier to swallow. With two beers and two burgers, no sides, we were at $48 (pretip). Giving a couple stars for the good selection and the good service, but we won’t be recommending or returning.
What a stunning restaurant! The design is beautiful and the service is excellent. The burger was incredibly tender and delicious; I enjoyed everything about it. The only downside was that I was still hungry afterward. While I noticed that it was a quarter-pound patty, I feel that for $13, it should be larger, or the price could be adjusted slightly to reflect the portion size. As it stands, I would probably need to order at least two burgers to feel satisfied. Overall, I give the place 5 out of 5, but the burger size gets a 4 out of 5. I will definitely be back!
I came here and was impressed with how friendly and courteous the employees were. The burger was also fantastic, and it is an excellent place to get a burger and a drink and hang out and talk. The owner was also incredibly attentive and friendly, which is rare at most restaurants. Overall, Mak's House is great, and I will be coming back.
I had a delightful experience at this restaurant! The owner and staff were attentive and friendly, and the food was amazing. It's definitely worth a visit to try their selection of burgers! Don't hesitate to ask for a drink or shot recommendation; you won't be disappointed!

Mak's has the best cheese burgers in the LaGrange area IMO. I have tried other good burger places in the area and this one is on the top of my list. They have so many different burgers on their menu. I will probably return to try them all. I recommend you try for yourself.
The food here is quite tasty! The burger is fresh and hearty, and the service is impressively quick. I would give it a perfect 5 if it weren't so noisy, but the atmosphere strikes a balance between a family setting and a bar. It's an excellent option for families!
The staff is friendly, the burgers are outstanding, and there's a great selection of beer. It's an excellent spot for gatherings with friends or family. There’s ample parking nearby, as well as some street parking available.
First time. Excellent food and service. Blind date with quite possibly the love of my life. Atmosphere gets a 4 but that's on me. Slightly louder than I like but everyone else was having a great time!
