Maleewan’s Thai Imbiss

It's been a while since I eat here. Unfortunately I was disappointed this time. I got the basil pork. The seasoning and vegetables tasted ok, but the pork was so over cooked. That is when I realized the meat was precooked and kept frozen, at my order they just took one portion out and boiled with the vegetables. I was expecting a nice succulent stir fry. Instead I got boiled rubber. Their menu used to be smaller but everything cooked fresh. Maybe their curry is still good, but not sure I want to try it again.

We stumbled across the Imbiss on our walks and it was like you are back in Thailand! The food, the staff, the service was top notch and was so impressed that I returned again for a second visit. During my next trips, I would surely go back. Special mention goes to Maleewan, the owner of the place, she has great energy and the rest just follows suit!

Although small and somewhat off the tourist paths, this little restaurant (that's actually more of a shop with some tables) offers the best Thai food in Linz, nice, quick service - and all of this on the lower end of the price scale! Truly an insider's tip for lunch (don't think they're open evenings...)Loved it, have been back many times.

Second visit today. Food and service outstanding. The place is warm and friendly and they have taken authenticity serious! Summer rolls full to the brim with chicken, so were the prawn spring rolls. Mains plentiful and very tasty, rice especially good. If you like good original Thai food, you MUST go there!

Good food for the price. More seating now as they renovated. Air flow is not very effective so it was a bit hot, ok for a quick lunch.
