I’ve been ordering from mama’s for years and I feel like the quality goes down every time I come back. When they first opened, the food was amazing!! Even when they opened up the second location, the food was still top tier. Last time I ordered through Uber eats and they messed up my order. I also ordered two days ago and everything is just terrible. I ordered the fried shrimp dinner: the shrimp was salty AF, the mac and cheese tastes like stouffer’s, and the candied yams were UNDERCOOKED AND hard. What the??? I’ve never had yams this hard before. To top it off the yams weren’t even sweet. I’m disappointed because I’m now looking for my next soul food spot. I would give this two stars but for the price I expect better food.
