When my duaghter suggested this place for Columbian food my first thought was there are so many Columbian resturants closer to me, but I saw the high rating and number of reviews and tried it. I am so glad we did. It is not overrated, but a true gem that we will come back to. We started with mini empanadas...so good especially with the hot suace. They also gave us a plate of thinly sliced plantains chips with a herbed mayo. Both were excellant. Dinner did not disappiont. We ordered their country sampler platter(Band Paisa)...it was huge. Pork Hawaiian style and the chicken with mushrooms. For sides we had the potatoes(my favorite and Highly recommend), green plantain, beans and a salad. Our...

I love Colombian food. I grew up going to my corner stores eating Colombian empanadas. I stumbled upon this restaurant on the way back home. I was craving an empanada. I saw it was highly reviewed and stopped by. I parked on the front. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing: beautiful colors, great music, and very friendly staff. The empanada was great: crispy on the outside and really stuffed inside. I decided to dine in last minute and we were immediately seated. Our waiter was wonderful and very patient. He always had a smile. I ordered grilled chicken with shrimp and my husband ordered the steak with onions and peppers. I got a cappuccino on the side. I really wanted to love my dish bu...

My boyfriend and I ordered to pick up a churrasco well done with a side of maduros and French fries. When he gets here, the churrasco is still **** and not well done so we call and they ask us to bring the churrasco back and they’ll give us a new well done churrasco. By this time our maduros and fries get cold. Also, the maduros tasted really weird and smelled sort of like burnt plastic. Fast forward to the new churrasco, we get home again and this new churrasco smelled and tasted really fishy (in which I hate fish)!! At that point I lost my appetite and didn’t eat anything. I will never be ordering here again, save your money and drive towards the Elizabeth area because they have WAY better...

I wanted Columbian food and was debating whether to go here or to Noches de Columbia. In the end I decided to come here based on all the high positive reviews as well as to try a different restaurant since I've been to noches de Columbia before. Wow. I'm a fan and see what all the hype was about. The service was great and the food was even better. The fruit drinks were refreshing and had a variety of choices such as guava, mango, Pina colada, soursop, and Pineapple. The entrees were decent portions at a reasonable price. The chicken Ala plancha was well seasoned and tender. Will definitely be back to try some of their other items.

Place is very cute inside and has nice decorations. The staff is also very nice. We got the little empanadas and guacamole with tostones for appetizers. The little empanadas weren?t bad. they were beef and potato. The guacamole was not our favorite, so maybe try something else. My partner got bistec encebollado and was a fan of the taste. Good plantains and soft rice and the onions were caramelized well. Overall a pretty good dish. We both enjoyed it.

Great experience and will be revisiting. Portions are large and the food is seasoned and flavorful. Most dishes come with a choice of two sides and leaves you with plenty of food to bring home as well. The rice was nice and fluffy, the grilled fish was perfect, and the beef dishes are great. I also recommend one of their fruit juices; nothing special but it goes with the meal. Menu items are a bit pricey though.

Always a great place to have our favorite bandeja paisa! I also love their pork with creamy mushroom sauce! And we wash it all down with their refreshing mango (con agua) juice. Their staff is always so friendly, even though most only speak Spanish. I'm glad Liliana was there to serve us since I only know minimal Spanish and she spoke English????

Literally around the corner from my portrait studio and had to stop by and check this spot out. Breaded chicken with rice and fries are tasty! Staff is super friendly. Restaurant is welcoming! I came back the next day because it was that good!
