Marinas Fish - Réservation de table

Worst experience ever! We ordered from mariners/plainmoor fish bar this evening for delivery. When ordering it said 40 minute wait. Over 2 hours later and 3 phone calls and the food finally arrived as they had lost the order. We called and were fobbed off as the female answering the call couldn’t be bothered checking, the same the second time (we didn’t chase the order until it was 30 mins late , third time and they finally looked into the order which seemed to have been lost, this could have been checked the first time round by the lazy staff!! To top it off THEY ARE NOT FOLLOWING SOCIAL DISTANCING WHEN DELIVERING, the girl delivering looked like she needed a good wash let alone deliver foo...

After calling through a fairly large order for collection we got home to discover part of it was missing. Naturally I called to tell them see what we could do as it wasn’t an option to go back and collect because everyone had opened their food were sat around the table... I can honestly say I was met by a disgusting man on the phone who has zero customer service skills and basically a ‘what do you want me to do about it’ attitude. He was vile, talked down to me, offered NO solution whatsoever, was sarcastic just dam rude. They’re called St Mary’s takeaway now. Perhaps they should invest in training this particular individual in customer service. After hanging up the phone we were called back...

We arrived after searching for a fish and chip shop on Google. This place is called Mariners. The order was taken very quickly and freshly cooked. This place also does pizza and kebabs. We got back to Parkdean after about15 minutes in traffic and the food was still lovely and hot. The fish was a lovely white colour and the chips were cooked perfectly. The fish tasted really good after a days travelling and sight seeing. I would certainly recommend this fish and chip shop and is great value for money

I have visited this fish and chip takeaway twice in the past two weeks. Despite the challenging times, they have an efficient system and continue to cook food to order. The prices are fair, the portions are generous, and the food is tasty. The staff could be a bit friendlier, but I understand they may be feeling the pressure of the current circumstances. I would give them 4 stars! It's not a restaurant, but definitely worth a visit. Réservez une table maintenant

We have ordered takeout from Mariners Fish Chips a few times and have always been impressed with the quality of the food. It seems that many of the previous reviews are outdated, as the restaurant has changed its name some time ago. The prices are reasonable compared to other fish and chip shops, and we would definitely recommend it as the food is delicious.

After arriving in Torquay for our weekend break, we fancied takeaway fish and chips for dinner, we googled the nearest ones and chose this one as it was nearby. Battered cod was delicious and chips were also really nice. Not too greasy and we’re still hot when we arrived back at our holiday park approx 12 min drive. Would recommend this fish bar

Went into the shop as it is our local take away shop and ordered a meal that added up to £20 to feed my family...like they have done before in there, the only gave me half of what I ordered and I wasted £10 on nothing. I really do not recommend as it is obvious that they do this on purpose to gain some money! Terrible

Ordered from here again tonight after last weeks visit! Food is very nice and reasonable. All cooked fresh to order. COD is perfect and chips very nice! Will defiantly be back again, nothing like the old plainnoor fish bar, rankings definitely deserve to go up !! Réservez une table maintenant

I was extremely satisfied with the fish and chips selection at this restaurant. The portions were very generous, with thick chunks of fish and chips that were not greasy. The staff was friendly and I will definitely be coming back again.

I brought a cheesy chip wrap for £2.70. And I literally had more ketchup then cheese or chips. The burgers are £4.00 there tiny and there disgusting I would recommend to AVOID!!!!
