To be honest, I never expected Oshawa, Toronto to excel in vegan cuisine, but Mathilda's definitely impresses or at the very least is on par with the best. They offer a variety of East Asian dishes, along with Middle Eastern and European options. The teriyaki chicken, Indonesian noodles with pork, chicken parmesan with pickled potatoes, chicken calzones, spinach bake, and Balinese beef were all incredibly delicious. You can create your own combos from the hot plates or grab ready-to-eat meals to take home. They also have a selection of baked goods. On top of their menu items, they also have daily specials that rotate on their hot table. They also have baked goods, frozen meals and grocery items you can purchase. My fiancé and I ordered the 3 Item Daily Special and got the Chick’n Shawarma, BBQ UnPork and Cheezy Potatoes for $15 (including tax and tip). We brought it home and used our own rice. This was more than enough to satisfy us both! Everything was delicious, flavourful, and more than we could have imagined! Definitely will be back to try more daily special items!!

Fresh prepared meal was delicious I had the curry chicken with rice. The 2 choice combo came with 1 choice and rice ? Should be called 1 meal option. The freezer food meals like perogi was $16!! The main meal was great. The chess’s spinach puff pastry had a sour taste to it. But it was fluffy , if not for that foul taste I am sure it would be delicious.

When we are in the Oshawa area, we make it a priority to do take out from this fabulous restaurant (no dine in yet). The chickn shawarma is out of this world! Everything we tried has been delicious though. Alice is so kind, love seeing her. We can 't wait to dine in because the restaurant itself is beautiful. Réservez une table maintenant

Cute place with some grocery items including soy curls. Had a combination plate of all the options they had. Everything was delicious and it was fantastic to be able to try everything without buying a ton of dishes. Staff/owner were extremely friendly

mathilda is my target! eating is so good that I could eat it every day. not only eating the best vegan, but eating the best! every time when I eat mathilda’s to my meat friend they seriously consider veganism!

I visited this restaurant in hopes of enjoying a good vegan meal, as they had many options available. However, I was disappointed to find that none of them were gluten-free.
