We just enjoyed an amazing meal! We kicked things off with mozzarella sticks and boom boom shrimp. The shrimp were large, fresh, and crispy, paired with a perfectly spicy sauce. For dinner, our daughters had chicken tenders with fries and a grilled cheese, both of which they thoroughly enjoyed. The teriyaki wings were tangy, with crispy skin and tender chicken packed with meat. My burger was cooked exactly as I requested—medium rare and juicy. The house margarita was just right, and the Bahama Mama was delightful too. The atmosphere was relaxed, fun, and welcoming, and the service was outstanding. Stopped by before going to a Turtle hatchling event. Got to watch the football game which was a plus. A bacon burger will set you back about $13 bucks came with fries (OH AND A LITTLE PIECE OF BEACON LOL which is not bad for the times we are living in. 1-10 on the burger I would say a 7 1/2. Waitress was on point super nice. Which is hard to find nowadays. Would I recommend yes. If you are bougie this is not the place for you. More laid back comfortable atmosphere. This is our second year coming to sunset, thought we would try this place out this time. The crab cake sandwich was decent, it had a fair amount of filler. I’ve had worst, so that’s a plus in my book. Seemed like a lot of the beer on the menu was not in stock. So, maybe keeping an updated draft menu could help. My wife got the onion rings as her side, they were pretty good. The service was above average, no real complaints. The service was disappointing. The staff rarely checked on our table, and we had to wave someone down just to get more water. The buffalo wings were large but overly fatty and flabby, lacking the crispy texture we were hoping for. The French fries were mediocre; they needed to be cooked longer to improve their quality. The hamburgers were decent, but they seemed like they were sourced from Sam's or Costco, definitely not made in-house. We waited nearly 40 minutes for our food. Overall, I won’t be returning. I had a fantastic dining experience with a diverse menu that offers plenty of options for everyone. The service was exceptional, and the bathrooms were impeccably clean. I couldn't ask for more from a restaurant. I highly recommend Mavericks Point to both locals and weekend visitors alike.
