I've been meaning to visit Max's for a long time and glad I did! If you're looking for traditional German fare with friendly service and a wide selection of beer, you've come to the right place. If it's your first time, try the Wurstplatte a sample of two brats and two sides. Pro tip: If the weather is nice, try sitting outside. There's plenty of seating whereas the indoors is a tad small, yet charming!

Without a doubt, this is one of my favorite places overall. It’s definitely a must-visit whenever I'm in Queens. The food is consistently delicious and on point. The service is friendly and prompt. I've never had a disappointing experience there. We always leave with a smile.

Our party of dozens overloaded their kitchen and overcrowded their dining space, so service was slow. Good food and drink, however, and nice place.

Best German Bar in Astoria! The décor is beautiful, the staff is friendly, the food and drinks are yummy. Radeberger is my favorite draft beer!
