Went here for my bffs birthday last night, most of the time we were barely speaking because we were too busy enjoying food and drinks. Absolutely incredible experience, everything we had was top notch. A bit on the pricey side but worth every penny and definitely great for special occasions and/or just going in for drinks. Everything about this place is so aesthetically pleasing I have never taken so many photos at a restaurant before. Definitely a hidden gem although its not hidden! Was shocked it was not packed full of people. Don't skip out on this place you will LOVE it! Great staff, great ambience, great views, exceptional food. Well done team!
Incredible food and outstanding service. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu—try everything! The porterhouse was cooked to perfection, and the fried chicken had an incredible crispy texture. The baba ganoush was fantastic, and the lamb meatballs were absolutely delicious. The cocktails were impressive too! The bartenders were very attentive, and the servers provided excellent service. The manager even took the time to check in with us. Even the complimentary seasoned popcorn was a highlight. There are only a handful of restaurants I've experienced that can compare to this one. I can't praise them enough!
We come here often but it was the first time we celebrated a birthday. The food and service is always so good. For the birthday, I booked a table online in the patio. When I got there I noticed it was not what I had in mind. We were isolated from all the fun happening downstairs. They kindly accommodated my party to a great table closer to the fun! The only thing that was missing was a birthday cake... I am not sure if they forgot, or if the birthday person has to order a dessert?!? Either way, great place to come with friends, on a date, etc. Thank you and see you soon!
Mayfield stands out as an exceptional dining destination. The cocktails, food, wine, and desserts are all uniquely prepared and served by a knowledgeable and passionate staff. The Market within the restaurant is just as remarkable as the restaurant itself. Mayfield is our top choice in South Orange County. It consistently upholds its reputation by never taking its menu, staff, or atmosphere for granted. If you haven't experienced Mayfield yet, you're truly missing a wonderful dining experience!

Everything about Mayfield is lovely. I didn't eat anything that I didn't likelove. The labneh dip with dates is, of course, pleasantly sweet. The focaccia wedges are generous, for sure. The pork chop was so good, and I can't not mention the beet greens. I don't know what they dress those with but it was so good! The charred Cabbage was 100% worth the order. Seriously, everything was just delicious. I highly suggest a glass of the sauvignon blanc you can see noted on my receipt.
The restaurant offers a fantastic variety of dishes, along with outstanding service and a wonderful atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the dips, skewers, meatballs, and the fig and goat cheese appetizer. We capped off our meal with the toffee bread pudding, which was superb. Every dish we tried was exceptional.
Delicious and unique food in a super cute area of San Juan Capistrano. Our server Hanna was amazing and informative about favorites and quantities. All of her suggestions and her level of service were spot on. Drinks were inventive and tasty as well, we will definitely be back!
We loved our experience at Mayfield. The ambiance was great, the patio seating was so lovely, and our sweet waitress (I think her name was autumn? was very attentive and helpful. Overall a great evening and plan to return! Also the bread was incredible.

Absolutely love this place. Best to go with a group so you can taste a bunch of the dishes as they are typically “family style” share plates. Rip and dip to start is a must… and they’ve got a **** good wine menu too! A
