Mccarthy's Irish Pub Bern

Very nice pub in the middle of Bern. A dream for beer lovers, the menu is forever long, but the prices for beer are quite high. What I liked best was the finger food. I like to eat something small when I drink a few beers with friends. There are nachos, chicken wings, garlic bread etc. The prices for the food are really fair. In the restaurant you can only order in English, which is ok since it is an Irish pub. The pub is large and comfortably furnished, so you don't actually want to leave. In any case, a good place for people who don't know their way around Bern like me. Lovely again.

This was really good food. The bangers and mash were on par with the best I've had in Ireland. We really enjoyed the roast beef salad as well. A perfect variety dish. The service was incredibly friendly.

Quick placement, very friendly staff, super fast “delivery” of the drinks and food to the place and a nice atmosphere with good background music (not too loud! — I really liked it, will come back. 5/5

I personally like the atmosphere, the personnel is kind, I have never eaten there so I can’t say anything about food. I only rarely find a place to sit tho which means that it’s likely a good place Réservez une table maintenant

Very expensive beer, almost 10 francs and then you can't even pay individually. Nobody speaks German either... once and never again
