The Greek salad with chicken was spectacular. Absolutely the best I have ever had. The chicken had been marinated and grilled where it had a perfect crust and was juicy inside and so tender it melted. The salad itself was very fresh and prepared in...consistent bite sized pieces. Generous in size and very humbly mentioned on the menu. If I was serving something that perfect it would be my signature dish. The food and ample parking would be what keeps me coming back. The service would make me think twice bout a return though. Our server did not ask about drink refills nor return to see if our meals were alright after serving them. we have often been an early part since the move to port colborne in melina’s. we are never dissatisfied. their omellets are delicious. we had a meeting with some employees for lunch. So I'm glad I checked reviews about the lunch menu. a review said the Greek salate and the huh were really good. So I ordered it. it was great. the portion was huge and the chickensuppaki was sooo good. everyone was also surprised with his others. there were some containers that went out with remnant. so glad I have to eat there. I'm not just gonna be there for breakfast, and our server was very humorous.
this place was recommended to us and we tried it for lunch. the food was excellent. my man had the fish and chips and I ordered the daily special, roasted western sandwich with a cup suppe. the suppe was homemade mushroom and the cup...was a large portion. the west in sandwich was large and well cooked. the fish and chips were a large portion, many hand-cut French pommes and homemade coleslaw. we were both full when we were gone. service was fast and very friendly. all Covid protocols have been tracked. this is a bar- only restaurant, but there is a cash machine on the ground.
Melina’s isn’t much in the esthetic department but the food and service make up for it. The decor is a melange if eras but it’s pretty clean with very friendly servers. My partner and I were very happy with our hot turkey sandwiches with a...very generous amount of turkey piled high and lots of gravy. Fries are hand cut and great as was the coleslaw. Good diner coffee as well. Worth the stop and reasonable too
This was a great family restaurant and had a great priced meal. My daughter and I really enjoyed our time. They have lots of space in the back if you need for a large group. Everything was made fresh and fast. Coffee was great. Service...was friendly and very helpful. This restaurant only takes cash.
