So I have been going to this place for months and the food there is absolutely amazing. So I’m not going to even knock them on the food, the place is clean, well organized, and decent prices for the food. But today left a real nasty taste in my mouth, I’m not sure who the new cashier person is but she has a very nasty attitude and it can be much of a turn off from not looking to patron there anymore. The staff here are incredibly slow and disorganized, unable to follow even written directions. The food is mediocre at best and certainly not worth the hassle. Additionally, the card machine is out of order, and they won’t accept $100 bills. They also don’t have all the items listed on their menu available, and this isn't reflected on their website. If you're craving a peanut punch, be prepared for disappointment. They don’t start preparing your food until you arrive, even if you call ahead—on one occasion, I ordered 30 minutes in advance only to face delays. The callaloo is excessively oily, and when they hand off your order, it’s not wrapped, so expect a messy bag by the time you get home....
Unfortunately, I was so disappointed that I probably won’t return. I sometimes order food here, since I live in the neighborhood, but the service was extra poor, and my food order was wrong–even though I clearly stated what I wanted. The woman had an attitude and seemed like i was disrupting her day when I entered. They were out of a lot of food, including my favorite patties, so I said I’d get the j chicken patties. Instead, I come home with veggie patties. The white rice was my substitute for their sold out peas and rice, but it was salty and hard. Brought stew chicken dinner terrible over cooked. Cabbage terrible. Rice peas terrible. Gravy terrible. With that said I wasted good money . I gave the uneaten portion to the homeless that inhabit LIC!!! If you want palatable Jamaican food in LIC try Island Foodie on 12th street off of 21st. (across from the Queensbridge projects) they even have a lunch special at 6 and change!!!

I will never return to this restaurant. The woman at the register was extremely rude. Additionally, the lack of air conditioning made the experience uncomfortable; I felt like I needed a shower after waiting for my food. Save your time and find somewhere else to eat.
OMG the jerk chicken is so delicious. I can't describe it in words but hands down the best I've eaten so far. Chicken is well cooked meat falls off the bone and the spices are well balanced and just right. Well be coming back for more.
Love this place. As a Guyanese person living in LIC area, this is the ONLY place with authentic Caribbean flavor. Go ahead and get you the large plate bc you?ll def want the leftovers! Keep up the great work ??
Best Caribbean in the city (esp the jerk chicken! . My wife and I love it and keep coming back even though we moved further

Wow ! This place was extremely flavorful and servings are generous . Will deff be back soon the staff are polite and fast
The food was exquisite. I enjoyed their red pea soup along with curried chicken and white rice.
