I have a family member who is an alcoholic. This person has had extreme alcohol problems for over a decade, closer to 15 years. This person was about two years sober then the pandemic hit and it was too much and this person. This person has relapsed ever since, in and out of rehabs again. In and out of countless rehab countless times, spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on recovery etc. this person lives back home now to get healthy again and this person relapsed tonight. Took the car to go to an AA meeting and was gone a suspicious amount of time. We called this person over and over, finally a bartender picked up and told us our beloved family member was passed out at the bar(memories)....
