I cost 5* reviews sparingly, reserve them for those who really stand above the others and I think this place deserves it. We stayed here looking for ceviche restaurants and then seeing that this place was also in my list to go. Love this place! The food is unique, interesting, fun, tasty and not as scary! The menu has a variety of different protein options and vegetarian options, It has some spicy some not spicy dishes and excellent descriptions! The wait staff is helpful and professional! Loved this spot! Will definitely be back here to try as much as possible. The food was amazing. We started off with the plantains to start, which was amazing and I would highly recommend it. We enjoyed our main courses but wish I had something a little more flavorful instead of plain rice in my dish. The ribs were great and extremely flavorful. What really blew me away was the dessert we had! Would highly recommend having dessert here, and I might just stop back here just for the starters and dessert. The Service was great even though they were extremely busy.
We visited Iowa for the first time. My family is from Ecuador so when I saw Mi Patria, I had to try it. The food was fantastic. Super authentic and delicious!! The hornado was just like my grandma makes back home. Also the staff was so nice. He was the son of the owners and was very personable and friendly. I’d def recommend to anyone!
