The food was ok, but there was so much wrong! We ordered monster nachos. My son asked confimed it didn 't have tomatoes on it. His plate came out with tomatoes on it and no cheese sauce. When I ordered mine I said no vegetables at all and it was absolutely imperative that no onion be on mine. My food comes out and it 's a whole salad including onions. Before the waitress even set it down I said "that 's not supposed to have any vegetables and was very important not to have onions and there 's onions as well. I enjoyed my experience here. I ordered the flautas, which were a bit overcooked but still tasty! I appreciated that the dips were nice and thick rather than runny, and our server did a great job keeping our drinks filled. The restrooms could use some improvement, but out of the three local options I have, I would be more inclined to return to this one.
Every couple of years, we visit Linden to fish in the Buffalo River, and we make sure to dine at this restaurant every night. It's my favorite Mexican spot, hands down. The food is amazing! I had the steak and shrimp quesadillas, and they were the best I've ever tasted! The service is excellent too! Mi Pueblito truly stands out as the star of Linden!
Should 've trusted the reviews, but it 's a small town with few options, how bad could it be? Mexicans doing Mexican food should meet basic expectations, not the case here. The language barrier was what just killed it for me. The ability to understand your customers and words like enchilada sauce and add cheese please , aren 't difficult.

No hurrying in this place. 4th time being here and I've waited to be seated, drinks, order and checking out. Just slow paced.
