I have to say the experience we had here was over the moon to say the least. So friendly, and a home like service but on a professional hospitality level. The food for me was quite delicious, a great place to savour if you are searching for eats, that will satisfy and comfort your deepest cravings. We went here during a storm and there were 6 power outages and yet they still remained calm, produced delicious food, and gave the best service anyone could expect. The interior décor is really fun, eccentric, mix-match modern contemporary direction, mural that invokes thoughts of appetite and adventure. The music and vibes are quite warm and upbeat, as are the people. I whole heartedly recommend...
My wife and I had an incredible brunch here. We were very impressed with the creativity of the dishes. The flavors allowed the freshness of the ingredients speak for themselves, while pairing them in ways that made the flavors better than if they were just on their own. The service was so friendly, and welcoming. From the minute we stepped into the restaurant, it felt comfortable and easy to feel right at home. As well the Steak Eggs Benny was possibly one of the best non-traditional Eggs Benedict's I have ever eaten. I would never have thought to add a chimichurri sauce, but the way the flavors balanced the richness of the rest of the dish made it exceptional.
This is a fantastic little spot with delicious food and great music. I stopped by for breakfast, and they were playing some classic 90's hip-hop (the really good stuff from the early 90s). I tried the breakfast sandwich special along with a coffee, and when I finished my meal, I didn't feel like I was being rushed out, unlike some other places. I was able to sit back, read the news, enjoy my coffee, all while listening to tracks from Queen Latifah and LL Cool J. And let me tell you, the food was excellent—they should definitely bottle that special sauce they put on the sandwich; it really made the meal. I highly recommend this place!
An excellent, excellent breakfast joint. Went during a weekend trip and I'm so glad we landed in this restaurant. Overheard the owner say she recently took over the place with her partner because she sensed it had a good energy. It seemed to me that actually she's the source of good energy. They're really doing a fantastic job and you can feel it. My boyfriend cleaned his plate--something he rarely does. Our eggs were cooked to perfection and the hash was fresh and crispy. Without a doubt, this is the best brunch cafe in Courtenay and Comox. If this restaurant were located in downtown Vancouver, there would undoubtedly be lines out the door every day because the food is that amazing. I absolutely love their Caesar cocktail; it has a rich, bold flavor, and the addition of horseradish gives it a fantastic kick! The chicken and waffles were juicy and delicious, and the prawn Benedict was simply divine!
The food was delicious, and the service was very friendly! They ensured that my meal was dairy-free and had plenty of vegetarian choices available. The portions were generous, and the coffee kept flowing. The music was enjoyable, and the atmosphere was vibrant. I will definitely return!
