We used to really love this restaurant, but our last experience was quite disappointing! We consistently leave a $20 tip for the servers and an additional tip for the sushi chefs. When we arrived, they had some reserved tables, and while they tried to accommodate us, there was a woman already seated next to us with a dog in a carriage that looked like a baby (it was a puppy). I'm very allergic to dogs, and the thought of dog hair getting into my sushi was off-putting.
We politely asked the server if we could be seated at a different table away from the dog, but she seemed annoyed and shouted that the table was reserved and that she was doing us a favor by finding us a spot. So, we decided...
I'm giving this place 4 stars among other all-you-can-eat sushi options. Although it's far from our home in NYC, we would definitely return. They don't try to pass themselves off as Japanese; it's purely Chinese cuisine. The staff speaks Mandarin, which is interesting considering there are actually 200 dialects of Chinese, but Mandarin has been established as the official language. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and the service was good. The pricing was standard for a Chinese buffet.
The food is good but they can't get orders right over the phone. If you order exactly 1 thing they are fine, but if you have substitutions they mess up. I ordered 1 chicken teriyaki Bento box and told them I wanted Sweet ]otato roll instead ofCalifornia roll. I also said I wanted vegetable tempura instead of shrimp tempura. Instead I got the bento box with nosubstitions , a separate order of sweet potato roll,another California roll,a separate vegetable tempura. My meal went frommaybe $15, to $45!
Miga Sushi is one of the top all-you-can-eat restaurants in the area. As a vegetarian, I appreciate their wide variety of vegetable rolls, and they've recently updated their menu to include some egg options. My friends and I visit this place frequently because it never lets us down. I suggest calling ahead on busy weekend nights, as seating is limited. The host is attentive and will ensure you get a table as soon as possible. P.S. Don't miss out on the green tea ice cream!

The food here is outstanding! I was impressed by the wide variety of delicious vegan options available. My wife and daughter absolutely loved the hand rolls and other sushi selections. The service was excellent, with Mary, Ling, and Cindy taking great care of us. Additionally, it's a BYOB restaurant, so you can bring your own wine to enjoy. I recommend calling ahead for a reservation to ensure you have a table when you arrive.
I have ordered from Miga Sushi several times and have always been impressed. The Salmon Teriyaki is reliably fresh and has a nice crispiness. The chicken fried rice is the best I've ever tasted. The rolls are incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor. I always make sure to include the Gyoza in my order. Miga has become one of our favorites!
Friendly service and good food. It gets busy so make a reservation. We ordered from the main menu but there’s an all you can eat sushi deal that looks like great value for families and parties.
One of the best sushi spots in the area! The fish at Miga is consistently fresh and delicious. I’ve never had a disappointing meal here, and the prices are very fair. Overall, it's fantastic!
