I have been in to 29 states and god knows how many cities. My favorite type of food is Chicken Shawarma. So I eat Chicken Shawrma in each city I visit lol. I visited RI in May 2018 and let me tell you that Mike's Calzones sells the best Chicken Shawarma in the whole country. It has the authentic Middle Eastern taste ! . It's 2023 and I still dream of this sandwich lol. 5 stars for the best Chicken Shawarma I have ever had for the best service that stuck in my memory all these years up to this date. I plan to visit providence in the near future again just to eat at that place.

The place with the best shawarma in Rhode Island! I think there's been a change of ownership here but the taste has not changed. The service is very quick. I've also requested to get calzones with the halal chicken (since their whole menu is not halal), and they've happily obliged. Favorite place to be pretty much every weekend!
I haven’t eaten an Italian sub since the 90’s. I was watching a movie the other day and they were eating them and I immediately needed to order one. It was quite possibly the best sub I’ve ever had! The bread was so soft and fresh, the meats were high quality, it wasn’t doused in oil- highly recommend!

Chicken Shawarma Marcelo!!!!! Best sandwich I?ve ever had. My wife loves the buffalo chicken calzone. Mozzarella sticks are the best I?ve had so far out of any restaurant I?ve been to. Staff is extremely friendly. I can?t wait to keep coming back for their amazing food. Highly recommend!!!!!
Love Love alive this place. Places are VERY much affordable especially for the area) and food is DELICIOUS. My husband and I always get the Shawarma and it’s pretty much the best we’ve had. Chicken fingers for the girls and mozzarella sticks to share. DELICIOUS DELICIOUS DELICIOUS!
The food is always delicious, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is clean and inviting.I love the chicken shawarma sandwich. The service is always top-notch. The employees are friendly and efficient, and they always seem genuinely happy to be there.
The chicken shawarma wraps at this restaurant are the best! They taste even better with banana peppers. They did mention that fries were supposed to be in the wrap, but I didn't receive any so I was confused.

Great restaurant. Really friendly staff with smiles on there faces. Calzones are huge and delicious (that marinara is literally the best). Solid food for a great price.
