Today was quite disappointing. The contrast between my experience yesterday and today was striking. Perhaps there was a different cook in the kitchen. The bread tasted stale and had less cream than before, and the portion was smaller. The packet of syrup was carelessly tossed in with the French toast, making it soggy with berry juice. Additionally, there were noticeably fewer berries this time. The potatoes didn’t taste right; I had to drown them in ketchup just to make them palatable. The bacon also seemed like the pre-cooked kind you microwave, and I received only two pieces today instead of four like I did yesterday.
Mimi's Cafe offers delicious food, but there's often a minor issue with my order, usually not matching what's shown on their menu on DoorDash. For instance, my Turkey Dinner was missing the cranberry sauce that should have been included. I also asked for a salad with vinaigrette dressing but was given ranch instead. This time, I did get dessert, but on previous occasions, it was left out. Despite these small inconsistencies, the food at Mimi's Cafe is outstanding—perfectly seasoned, juicy turkey slices, homemade potatoes, and moist bread pudding. Overall, the quality of the food makes it a great experience.
We went here for breakfast today. My wife ordered a 2 egg combo with bacon, potatoes, and carrot muffin. I ordered a cheese, bacon, egg omelette with carrot muffin. Service was good but food was WAAAYYY too salty. Good grief!! The chef got carried alittle too away with the salt. Felt like I needed to drink a gallon of water after. Portions were good. Overall experiencewas 2 out of 5 stars. I wouldn't return for breakfast (because of the food); would look elsewhere.
Great food and good service overall. However, I was very disappointed that two women, unaware they needed a reservation, had to wait over an hour despite there being 20-30 open tables and enough staff available. With only one ordering option, I don’t understand why they had to wait so long. If customers are willing to support your business, you should make accommodations for them!

The turkey dinner was just okay. There was no gravy, which I missed. The menu was a bit confusing; it mentioned that the meal came with stuffing, green bean casserole, and orange cranberry sauce, but I didn't receive the cranberry sauce or the casserole. I had to choose sides when I expected what was already described. The stuffing tasted like it came from a box.
The Thanksgiving meal at Mimi's Cafe is overpriced at $33.00. The portions were very small, the salad lacked dressing, and the piece of pie was just 1.5 inches on each side. It didn't even include whipped cream and was rather dry. I would recommend skipping this meal, as it doesn't offer good value for the money spent.
The French toast was delicious, and the eggs were fluffy. I also paid extra for additional toppings. The potatoes were nicely crispy and may have had some parsley on top. However, the meal didn’t come with condiments or utensils—I don't recall them being offered as an option. Overall, I would definitely order again!
I been coming here for year's and today i come in for lunch and notice the restaurant look's cleaner and my food look more presentable then last couple of times. Towards the middle of my lunch the new manager come by and introduce herself. i can tellshe's making a difference already and i would definitely return.

The appetizers were a bit expensive. I had the salmon with rice, which was decent, while my husband tried the jambalaya and felt it had too many tomatoes. I also ordered a slice of carrot cake, but the middle was too moist. Overall, the experience was okay, with nice presentation.
