After my order was horribly incorrect yesterday, I foolishly place another order at this resturant. This time, it was even worse. To start, all items were room temp, so I had no clue how long they were sitting out and if they were safe to eat so they had to be thrown away. On top of that, both of the two items I ordered were missing sides. If that wasnt enough, my experience with doordash support was just as unacceptable. I was disconnected multiple times and had to restart the chat. I would get a message asking "what was wrong with your order" and then literally 5 seconds later, Id get another message saying "are we still connected" and then a few seconds after that "since we havent heard f...
I'm a fan of diners, and Minella's feels like home to me. I challenge you to find something they don't offer. Just remember, don't order fish as if you're at the shore, or veal like you're at Fredo's on South Street. It's more like hearty meals made with genuine ingredients. They always have turkey dinner, but only serve peas on Thursdays. Honestly, the food is quite delicious. I was surprised at how tasty a simple cheeseburger could be—excellent beef, juicy, and cooked to perfection. I came here with my mother and sister for breakfast. My mother got an omelette that she enjoyed and my sister got scrambled eggs and bacon with another 2 pages bacon (she loves bacon) that she also enjoyed. I ordered an avocado omelet. The potatoes that came with were delicious. My omelette was delicious outside the avocado. The avocado chicks were hard so I couldn't eat anything of it and had to get them out of my omelet. Our waitress hasn't checked for us until we were usually finished eating, but when she came, I asked if I could get a side of avocado as the avocado was not edible in my omelet. I wish there were more restaurants like this one. The food is consistently delicious and satisfying, and the service is mostly reliable. You can usually find a table available right away. The restaurant always appears to be clean and well-maintained. Minellas never disappoints! Their food is consistently delicious and served quickly. Even with so many other dining options along the Main Line, they remain my top choice. I've never had an issue with my order; it's usually ready within 10 to 15 minutes after I place it. I also enjoy dining in because the staff is remarkably friendly and skilled at their jobs.
We really liked this place. There is a wide selection of dishes that you would find in every high-quality NY/NJ/Philly family Diner. The furnishings and the ambience were beautiful and the service was very good. Pastrami rueben was made with lean meat and was served openly. The chicken quesadilla was surprisingly good.
