While visiting family we were taken to a local restaurant by a resident family member who guaranteed both price and quality of the food. He wasn't exaggerating as both were excellent. What we didn't expect, however, was a language issue with a waitress. She was one who refused to speak a word of English and would go on to respond to our questions in French sentences fully expecting us to understand. Ask for a straw and receive a free translation in French. Ask for salad dressing varieties and get an unrelated French sentence.The one resident who lives nearby the restaurant did understand most of what she said and explained that she was a type who refuse any interaction with the English langu...
I went to this restaurant with my parents and we all ordered separate dishes along with some pizzas because my dad wanted to try the "best pizza in town." I'm happy to report that I was not disappointed. I left feeling satisfied and full. Despite a slightly longer wait, we hardly noticed it and were given complimentary bread rolls to enjoy while waiting. We didn't mind the wait, and the gesture was a nice touch. The ambiance was great and the service was excellent, with our server being very friendly. We definitely plan on returning to this place again.
Been here many times for lunch. They have a lunch special comes with bread rolls, soup, salad, main dish, coffee and dessert for an unbelievable price. 3 or 4 choices of main dish, good size portions, you won't leave hungry, for sure. Food is tasty. Waitresses are friendly and quick. Today I had the hamburger steak, smothered in fried onions, with mashed and veggies. Yummy! Have also had the lasagna, combo duo (pizza and pasta) - all good.
I have been to -- and ordered from -- Miss Italia on numerous occasions and am happy to say that it is my go-to pizza place outside of Rome = ) Staff is always friendly, food is always delicious and the pizza is... well, amazing! The dough is perfect, the sauce has just the right kick to it and the toppings are always on par. Order the Miss Italia or the bruschetta and you won't be dissapointed... My advice, order out, the food is good and the price is fare. If you are English don't bother going to the restaurant the waitress I had wound not speak to me in English. I do understand that it is in Quebec....but.. there are a lot of great places in and around Montreal. I would skip this one.
