We decided to order drinks and then order food. I got a hunters chicken dish. Never got it. Seating wasnt good as alot of tables reserved, so you were left with uncomfortable chairs. This place looks good from the road , upon closer scrutiny it is tired and needs some money spending on it , thought we would give it a go entered the spacious dining areas my husband ordered our drinks and meals I could smell stagnant water or sewage , so moved seats twice , no difference, in fact the stench began getting worse , so we decided to eat outside, I could still smell sewage so told my husband to cancel our order at the bar , bar staff were kind enough to say they were having trouble with their sewage , whilst this is honest I don’t feel that serving food and drinks where there is such a bad stench is the right thing to do , smells emanate from the bacteria causing them , if you...
During our trips to and from North Wales we usually stop for lunch and a break from the drive at the Mitre Oak, Hartlebury, Worcs. One member of staff we see on a regular basis is a lady called Patricia. This waitress takes our order expeditiously in a very courteous manner and always with a smile.
