Mj's Tavern - Réservation de table

The thorough security check at the entrance was somewhat off-putting, but I suppose it enhances safety inside. I found it hard to believe that a single shot of Cuervo and orange juice cost $14—are you kidding me? The bartender had an unpleasant attitude, so I decided to leave a $2 tip. This was my first experience at the place, and I sensed that the bartender in the back might have been friendlier. The atmosphere reminded me of a bowling alley—perhaps a bit too bright for my liking. It felt somewhat like a USO club, which makes sense in a Navy town! Most of the other patrons seemed to be enjoying themselves, but overall, I didn’t find any reason to return.

I visited this restaurant with my friends and girlfriend during Pride, and I had a wonderful experience. I had been here about six years ago for a fetish event, and the staff back then was just as fantastic. The food is excellent, but be prepared to wait a bit—it's definitely worth it because it's so delicious! The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. What really stands out is the welcoming atmosphere; everyone here is kind and respectful to one another. As I'm sober, I can’t speak much about the drinks, but I've heard they’re quite good. They also have regular events and great specials, plus a pool table!

This is a great spot for a fun time! The food is amazing—don't miss the Cuban sandwich! A big thank you to Courtney for being an excellent server. It’s a perfect place for meeting new people while enjoying delicious bar food and drinks. I definitely recommend it for a night out with friends. I also just had breakfast here, and it was fantastic! This place is truly wonderful! The events they host are a lot of fun. I'm really happy to see a bar in the community that brings everyone together with such engaging events. Love it!

I came here with my friends and Boyfriend for pride. I was also here about 6 years ago for a fetish event, wonderful staff. The food is great but be patient! It's delicious! Food is worth the price and affordable, great portions. The openness and acceptance of all at this bar is what makes them stand out. Everyone here has been kind to others from what I've seen. I'm sober so I can't say much for the drinks or drink prices. Though I hear they're good. They constantly Réservez une table maintenant

Approximately 7 to 9 days ago my husband and I tried food from MJ?s Tavern in Norfolk Virginia. It was pleasant enough outside for us to eat our food which tasted appetizing and the foods/drink we selected included fried pickles tuna bites onion rings cheese steak and bread pudding and cherry coke (obviously we did have some leftovers). Our waiter was friendly and the food tasted better than I expected.

This gay bar has a vibrant atmosphere, welcoming staff, and draws a great crowd. The food and drinks are enjoyable, and the karaoke is a lot of fun. However, the restrooms could use some better cleanliness.

I absolutely love MJs! It's a diverse and welcoming place that's always fun. I really enjoy karaoke on Mondays and Singo on Tuesdays. Their fries are just *chef's kiss* amazing!
