Can't go wrong with places where one can destroy oneself for $15 or so before tax and tip. Parking is available on the side streets, a short walk away. What I like about this place; choice of ingredients for one's concoction. Healthy looking ingredients, good setup and how they manage the process. Service was very good. Nothing I can complain about. The food offerings are pretty standard, featuring thinly sliced frozen or semi-frozen beef, pork, and chicken, along with 3-4 types of noodles, vegetables, and other aromatics. My favorite combination is the beef or chicken with broccoli, zucchini, bean sprouts, carrots, onions, and sauce. I’m always impressed by those who can pile their plates high, especially with noodles, without everything toppling over! I'm a big fan of Mongolian BBQ, and my partner suggested this restaurant. The food was enjoyable, though not exceptional. Given the price, it was quite reasonable. The service was quick, and it was nice to watch the chefs prepare the food on the circular stovetop. The restaurant's interior was pretty standard — nothing remarkable, but nothing disappointing either. Overall, I would return since the food was good and I left satisfied.
I like the concept of build-your-own stir fry. Can't blame anyone but yourself if your concoction tastes crappy! Not much different from other Mongolian grill concepts. No seafood (shrimp) as a protein, but had beef, chicken, pork. No lamb, either, which is a surprise since it's Mongolian. Kind of no-frills, but after 3 BIG bowls, I left stuffed happy! I hadn't eaten all day, so it's perfect for intermittent fasts.
