The espetada was excellent, with very tender and perfectly prepared fillet. The small rump steak was also well prepared and nicely presented. After being unsure due to some reviews, we were pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back when we are in the area again. The staff provided excellent service, even when the restaurant was busy with a large party. They were accommodating and made us feel welcome.
The food was delicious, I have paid well for steaks in Chicago, Toronto and many high end steak Houses throughout North America and many other places and this was as good if not better than most. What a wonderful find in the middle of this beautiful little sleepy town. Will be stopping in frequently I assure you
We went to Montecello tonight because everywhere in Wilderness was full ...thank goodness they were!!!! What an absolute gem of a place. Our food was incredible..had the Espetada based on a review on here. 5 completely different meals and all awesome with fast amd friendly service. Super impressed and happy u
I've actually been wanting to write about this place for quite a while! I had heard so much about it and we finally got to see what all the fuss is about for ourselves about two or three months ago! All I'm going to say is that's the best espetada I've ever had in a restaurant! Don't order anything else!!! Réservez une table maintenant
I've been disappointed with every Espetada that I've had at other restaurants since I've gone to Montecellos in 2010. They have a simple yet tasty menu with a bar and an eatery section. Yes, the place is a bit dark and worn slightly, but the food makes up for it.Their desserts are very well proportioned.
This unassuming restaurant blew me away. Friendly staff made us feel as comfortable as possible while we were waiting for a table. We ordered the signature Espetada and it was beyond incredible. Medium rare, juicy and tender. We'll definitely be back when we find ourselves in the neighborhood again.
The food is excellent and the portions are big (bigger than usual). It is really good value for money. I would recommend this to anyone. It is quite popular so it is recommended to book beforehand. We did not book and the place was full, but they made a plan and seated us o a outside table.
The food at this restaurant was absolutely amazing, except for the sweet and sour chicken that my son ordered. It had far too much sauce and was too sweet. However, everything else from the prawns to the steak to the Espetada and chicken schnitzels was incredible. Réservez une table maintenant
